ENGAGEMENT

Picture1.png

Climbing up the steps of engagement. A successful IT-solution implementation is highly dependent on an effective stakeholder engagement strategy throughout the whole project period. Depending on how large a change the IT-solution creates, stakeholder engagement activities can be scaled up and down. Sometimes the change is so dramatic that it requires a major change in people’s way of working, thinking and behaving to break old habits and create a new best practice. Engagement tools can help to make stakeholders better understand and accept changes and embrace their new working situation. People take time to embrace the new direction and participate proactively in the change. In order to accept the change and contribute to making it successful, people need to understand how it will benefit them.

We have the expertise to ‘read the organizational culture and the stakeholders’ – to find out exactly how to create commitment. Making people feel secure and motivated for changes. Adding the right touch of ‘fun-factor’ and energy to the project. Making the change process more attractive and less frightening. Time and communication are two valuable keys to the changes occurring successfully. People need time to understand the changes, and they also need to feel highly connected to the organization throughout the transition period.
