The purpose of a Change Readiness Assessment is to find out how risk adverse and ready for change the stakeholders are and to set the corporate organizational change readiness level.To make sure that managers take lead and are committed to the project and understand their role as change agents and ambassadors and know how to support the stakeholders in the change process and walk the talk.
The purpose of risk assessment is to track any project related risks caused by stakeholder and internal political issues and be prepared to take mitigating actions. And to find out whether the stakeholders have the right skills and capabilities to perform their roles once changes have been implemented or whether there is a need for training.
